Fill your Well

Welcome to Dreamspace Natural Therapeutics!

I am happy you are here and decided to shop for your CE in this space.

I have had a long career in massage therapy starting right out of high school in 1992. I love sharing what I do with others and helping other massage therapists

I’ve had a long career in massage therapy because I take good care of my body and my mind. When I was about 7 years into my practice, one of my masters explained, “You can only give what you have stored.” Meaning: if you are depleted, running on empty in emotion, physical energy, mental turmoil, you have little to give your clients when they come to you for help.

One of my favorite therapies that I do for myself is Forest Bathing. Forest Bathing is associated with the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. Forest Therapy® is also associated with the art of Shinrin Yoku and has a certified medical research program behind it.

I want to make sure that I differentiate the two because becoming a certified practitioner and therapist of Forest Therapy® or Shinrin Yoku takes time, effort and dedication to the practice. It is considered a form of medicine in Japan, and there are specific types of forests that are considered Shinrin Yoku forests. There is an accreditation surrounding it, standards and ethics.

Forest Bathing is something I do for myself as a part of a daily practice to connect with nature, restore myself, breathe in clean fresh air from the trees, and bring that feeling of restored health to my patients every day.

I hope you have a long, healthy and lucrative career that is fulfilling to you, and healing to the people you touch. Part of that is developing a self-care routine that fills your well of health and energy. I hope to be a part of your journey as a therapist.

Visit the Class Store, and see if there is something there for you in 2025. Maybe this is the year you level up your skills, and really lean into your unique style. Maybe you're a long-time practitioner like me and want a solid review and be in a classroom where you can collaborate and share your knowledge. Whether you are just out of school, or are a teacher yourself, I think you will go home with honed skills, more nuance, better body mechanics at the table, and most of all a FUN experience with other therapists.
